Light room installation

kubik is a light room installation that connects light, space and sound in an urban setting, in both a sustainable and unique way. Since 2006 this synaesthetic concept has appeared as illuminated sculptures, night clubs and floating eye-catchers worldwide over 26 times. The concept is simple: sophisticated light technology is combined with prefabricated, sustainable items. The installations are temporary and easily transportable. The architectural possibilities are endless! The creators of kubik are experienced, detail-loving and offer full service production.

Morphing light art installation

MEMBRANE is a large-scale illuminated glass cube offering an outside view into the infinite universe. This walkable room structure hosts a light object made out of mutually facing spy-glass mirrors and foil mirrors attached to an air tank and a compressor. Inner edges of the cube are traced by luminescent tubes creating an illusion of a limitless light grid locked in the vertigo of its own multiplication. The hypnotic power of the illuminated space induces a state of mute fascination. When the flanking machine is turned on, the (de)compressed air-tanks deform the foil mirrors of the cube producing alternate convex and concave planes, morphing into a range of surface phenomena similar to graphic ornaments.

“The fascination of being absorbed into infinity”

A supermodular hanging light installation

PIXLHELIX is a colorful light object appearing in different shapes. The core element of this light installation is the PIXL, a very effective DMX controllable LED developed by the Berlin–based artist duo Pink+Gruen. Each PIXL illuminates an unique body – the DIAMOND. The artists offer the possibility to produce customized luminaries for specific projects. The PIXL is a flexible system allowing a wide range of hanging constellations to correspond with its surrounding. PIXLTREE, PIXLHELIX or PIXLSNAKE appear like vivid organisms through dynamic light shows.

Kinetic light art installation

The Wave is a sculptural hanging light arrangement, that forms generative wave patterns complemented by customized light animations. The choreography of hanging LED rods is based on a kinetic system with a flexible array of controllable cable winches that reel in and out. Each LED rod can be adjusted individually in height, speed, color and luminance. The synchronization of position and light animation generate complex shapes and light patterns. No matter which other luminaries you choose like white spheres, vertical crystal shapes or tubular bells, your subconsciousness will be ‘kidnapped’ and the audience will be led into a magic world.
